Homecoming Parade Participation Form

Alcorn State University is excited to invite you to attend our 2026 Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

Arrival Instructions:
Please enter campus via the back gate on Highway 552 by 7:00 a.m. Upon arrival, you will be directed to a designated parade parking area. After unloading, proceed to the Student Engagement Table to check in. (Eunice Powell -Student Union)
 

Parade Requirements:

• All group members must be in uniform to be recognized as official participants.
• Only four (4) chaperones per group are allowed.
• Individuals not in uniform or not listed as chaperones will not receive a wristband.
• Theme: There’s No Place Like Home — all floats and vehicles must reflect this theme through decorations.

Game Day Details:

• The ASU Braves will play Arkansas Baptist at 2:00 p.m.
• Parade participants may enter any gate with a valid wristband.
• Each group will receive four (4) complimentary chaperone wristbands.

Registration Instructions:
Please complete the registration form by September 28, 2026.

Note: Participation is capped at 1,500 and may close early. Groups that do not submit a form will be ineligible to participate or receive complimentary game admission.

Float Rules:

• Maximum Height 12-14ft Maximum Width 10-12 ft.Length Vehicle Trailer (40-50ft)
• Float must clear overhead wires, traffic lights, and tree branches. No 18-wheelers!
